House conservatives serve notice to Ryan _ and Clinton

WASHINGTON (AP) — Since returning from their summer recess, House conservatives have wasted no time showing just how tough they can make life for Speaker Paul Ryan — and for Democrat Hillary Clinton, if she becomes president.
Conservatives look determined to force a vote in the coming days to impeach the head of the IRS despite deep misgivings among other Republicans about such a pre-election move.
They're pressuring Ryan to oppose a deal taking shape in the Senate on must-pass legislation to keep the government open.
And they're promising to keep investigating Clinton's email issues even if she ends up in the White House. Some conservatives are even saying openly that impeachment hearings should be an option against Clinton.

Multiple bomb blasts in Syrian cities kill at least 43

DAMASCUS, Syria (AP) — A string of bombings, including a suicide attack claimed by the Islamic State group, struck in and around several Syrian cities on Monday, killing at least 43 people, mainly in government-controlled areas.
The SANA news agency reported blasts around the coastal city of Tartus, the central city of Homs, the suburbs of the capital Damascus, and the northeastern city of Hasakeh. The attacks were timed closely together, but authorities have not determined whether they were linked. The IS group claimed responsibility for the blast in Hasakeh.
Areas controlled by President Bashar Assad's forces have seen several bombings and other attacks during the country's five-year civil war, with many claimed by Al-Qaida-linked militant groups.
One of Monday's attacks took place in the heavily guarded suburb of Sabbourah, marking a major security breach. SANA said the attack killed one person, while the opposition-run Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said three people were killed.

This isn’t just shameless political posturing by Trump, but it’s a flat out lie.
A report published on Thursday by Charity Navigator gives the Clinton Foundation some of the highest possible ratings on both the charity’s finances and its transparency. They give the foundation four out of four stars and a score of 94.75 out of a possible 100.

The Time Donald Called Some of His Golf Club Members "Spoiled Rich Jewish Guys"
Mother Jones, Sept 2, 2016The Golf Channel followed Trump as he played a round with three other golfers who presumably were members of the club. He bragged that membership had "quadrupled" since he bought the club, and he hailed the new members he encountered. "Oh, so you're a Trump guy then, huh?" he asked one man, who said yes, he had joined the club under Trump. "Those are the guys I like the best, the ones that joined recently," Trump told a companion in his golf cart. "Because those guys are Trump fans, you know."
Trump also said he liked "to have fun on the course, and that means sort of razzing" his golfing partners. And he demonstrated his idea of razzing: at one point he stopped to chat and brag with a couple playing a round: "You got some place here, I'll tell you." He then pointed to one of his foursome and said, "Even these spoiled, rich Jewish guys, they can't believe how good this is, you know?"
The man was only identified as Hank, and he subsequently told the camera that Trump "beats up everybody in a kind, smiley way. That's just the nature of him."
